Hazelnut-chocolate cake
Extra nutty, extra tasty – tastes just as kipy likes it!

Not only our squirrel kipy knows what tastes really good. The chocolate cake with lots of hazelnuts tastes simply top-class! It is as moist as a creamy chocolate mousse which melts in your mouth. The ultimate topping is provided by the crunchy hazelnuts in and on the cake.

Ingredients:
200 g butter
160 g sugar
400 g dark chocolate
160 g hazelnuts, ground
6 eggs
60 ml hazelnut liqueur
100 ml cream
50 g hazelnuts, whole

Preparation:
It will melt in your mouth: First, you melt the butter with 200 g pure chocolate in a water bath and subsequently leave it to cool. Then you separate the fresh eggs with the cute kipy. Of course you can also use enzo, the multi-yolk plate, to separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolk and sugar like mad using a mixer for a few minutes – until a creamy mass results. Now add the liquid chocolate, 50 ml delicious hazelnut liqueur and the ground hazelnuts into the attractive bowl mariella. Mix everything well together! Now whisk the egg white until it is stiff and carefully fold it into the mixture using a spoon.

A useful tip: In order to be able to remove the cake from the form later, you can grease your new round cake form and dust it with flour. Just like that! Now the form is ready for the delicious, liquid mixture. And now: Open the oven and put the cake in: The chocolate-hazelnut cake will be ready in approx. 40 minutes at 180 °C, fan-assisted.

The perfect topping on the hazelnut-chocolate cake is the delicious ganache: For this, melt the remaining 200 g chocolate and mix It together with 100 ml cream and 10 ml hazelnut liqueur, until a delicious cream results. When the cake is cool enough, you can cover the cake with the ganache. On top you garnish the luscious cake with crunchy hazelnuts. And to crown It all off, you can serve the juicy chocolate-hazelnut cake on the serving platter of the cake cover emilio.
